Orlando Hotels that don't suck!

Back to Homepage

I have worked in several hotels in Orlando, but they were all dumps. So I'm going to review the ones that are decent. If they have a website its linked to their name.

Hotels in Orlando aren't generally that much better than hotels anywhere else, but some are actually much further along in terms of service, cleanliness, and accommodations than others. In fact, Orlando Hotels still beat out a lot of the small vacation homes because they offer so much. Common amenities consist of health clubs, spas, activity centers, and staff babysitters. Any of the following listings for Hotel Orlando FL will be at least enjoyable.

Hawthorn Suites

Country Inn and Suites

Offering only suites, this hotel is a notch above the rest on the list. Every suite features a fully equipped kitchen, full cable with HBO, one or two bedrooms, separate living/sleeping areas, and even a complimentary breakfast. Hawthorn Suites has a very strong connection to Sea World and you are encouraged to visit Sea World at least once while you are staying here. It is only a little over a mile away from Sea World but it is also near Disney, the Orange County Convention Center, and Universal Orlando. Hawthorn Suites Orlando is a very beneficial to your Orlando Vacation.

Radisson Worldgate Resort Hotel

Grand Floridian

One of the best traditional hotels with over 500 guest rooms. Amenities available are a health club, high-speed internet, multiple swimming pools, and a free shuttle to any Disney Theme Parks. But the shuttles are almost unnecessary since Disney Theme parks are less than a mile from where you are staying. The Radisson Worldgate Resort is also within walking distance of several shopping complexes and restaurant around Downtown Disney.
